It was the early dawn of winter solstice on the day of December, yet almost every living thing was in dreamy sleep but a few might be struggling to come out of their comfort zones. The silence was spread everywhere, though the buzzing sound of alarm broke the silence of the room.

As the alarm rang Umaima groped her mobile to dismiss the ring of the alarm. Even now she was on her bed when a tranquil voice of Adhaan (Azaan) touched her ears, come towards success (حَيَّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْفَلَاح). At once she ran towards the window and drew the curtain of the window of her room. Now the voice was very clear ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَر (Allah is the greatest), once she listened and then repeated those same words (Allah is the greatest).
After a few minutes she was on her prayer rug (Musullah). Oh ALLAH Almighty much gratitude, you have bestowed me much. Indeed you are the healer of the hurts, you are the best planner, as you have always helped me in every difficult situation, and today my dream is going to be true, only because you are with me. Oh ALLAH today is my graduation day grant me courage and confidence.
She spent a few hours in the excitement of achieving her degree but was a little anxious about her grade too. The graduation ceremony started, everyone was coming on stage and going back with their degrees. After a while she found herself on the stage, now she was the only Center of everyone’s attention. All around there was the loud sound of clapping. Everyone was watching, clapping, and praising her.
At last, she was on the stage with the status of a gold medalist of the department. She could see nothing here, and even the loud voice, clapping could not make her attention towards the audience.
At a time, suddenly she heard the voice of seven years old Umaima, running towards her father, papa, papa, papa, see I have done this mathematical problem, papa sees this is correct, you may also check the answer of it. After the little success of her daughter, by seeing her glamorous face, he smirked, oh proud of you my little angel, he said.
My daughter will be a mathematician he said. His eyes were shining as they were watching the bright future of his daughter, yes papa I would be a mathematician. Later he kissed his daughter’s forehead and said, that day has to come.
It was a very hot day in the summers and about 2:30 pm on a sunny day. Umaima had come back from school earlier at 1:00 pm and was waiting for her dear father. After a long wait, finally, her father came, he came not, as usual, he comes on the bike or his friend’s old Mehran car. Though he came in a big vehicle than bike and car it broke the heart of her daughter into pieces. She had wished for her father to come in a big vehicle. But she never meant an ambulance. She cried, screamed out louder, her screams were heartbreaking but could not back her father. He left her forever.
After the five years of her father’s death now she had completed her intermediate. She desired to study in a university that awards her a fully-funded scholarship, later on after putting in efforts and hard work, she got admission on a scholarship in her favorite university and desired department.
During the whole period of her study, she struggled a lot. She faced many challenges though she managed to cope with every challenge, maintained a good CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) each year. Moreover, she left everything behind her back and chose the only path that went to her destination that path led her to reach her destination. Now a girl who struggled, who fought the battle with her life, with society and accepted all challenges of life, she - the Umaima is in front of you.
Yes, I am Umaima the beloved daughter of my father, as a mathematician and gold medalist. Therefore, I believe in the wisdom of my Allah almighty, indeed HE is the best planner. It happens many times in our life, that when we lose anything in our life we just start complaining to our GOD.
Though we should be thankful for Allah almighty because everything happens for a reason. If Allah almighty takes something from you in the back, HE grants you the better than what HE has returned from you. The people in the hall could feel the pain of Umaima, now, everyone stood up and clapped as loud as her father would listen, and he could feel proud of his angel, his dearest Umaima.
